Jacksons 3mths

I was excited to do this shoot after doing a workshop and a mentor session.  I had a lot of new things going on for myself...shooting in manual, my first mini session, and some new editing techniques.  I still have some kinks to work out but glad to see some improvement :)  Jackson and his parents were such fun to work with and I can't wait for his 6mth pics...so here they are the adorable Batten family!

 

  

                           

 

Gerber CRAZY!

So my lovely fiance got me this ridiculous boutique of Gerber daisies for my birthday so I had to do some experimenting!  The boutique was put together by a florist in Sturgis, MI by the name of Designs by Vogts, check them out they are always soooo much fun.

 

Game TIME!

Was trying out some new things with my camera and trying to learn how to use this lens I got.  Still don't have it down to perfection like I want but a lil improvement...maybe I'll actually try using it at my next photo session!

Berry Please :]

Sometimes its the simple pictures I fall in love with!  Took this picture last fall and for some reason I adore it...its just some berries hanging out and it makes me smile :)

Batten Family

I had the extreme joy and pleasure photographing the Batten family this past weekend.  Little Jackson was just a doll and so great the entire time, he is one happy baby!  This was my first time photographing a baby this young and it made me smile and laugh the entire time.  This won't be the last you'll see of this lil cutie either!  He will be my first baby to do my "watch me GROW up" sessions :)
